How we started

We began with a grandson and his grandma, Jay + Krishna, cooking and making music together from her spare room. What started as a small family project was signed by Peter Gabriel, discovered by the BBC and grew into a wider mission to celebrate intergenerational relationships and preserve the stories that connect us.

Our mission

We connect grandmothers from around the world through the recipes, memories and traditions that have shaped their lives. We preserve their stories, honour their wisdom and share their heritage with future generations.

How it works

Choose a cookbook inspired by a grandma’s life and recipes. Personalise it with a photo and message, then send it to someone you love on a date of your choice.

Our Impact

Profits from every cookbook are reinvested into our mission, supporting grandmothers, preserving food heritage and strengthening connections between generations and communities.
